VS. Ninja Kong is the boss level of the Durian Kingdom in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, as well as the twelfth boss level overall. Like Battle for Storm Hill, it takes place on Storm Hill. However, unlike Battle for Storm Hill, this area takes place on a mesa in Storm Hill. This level's objective is to defeat Ninja Kong.
Level layoutEdit
In this level, Ninja Kong has 500 health points. He attacks with a punch that Donkey Kong must avoid and a kick that he must both dodge and counter. Throughout the entire level, if Donkey Kong attacks Ninja Kong right when he is about to kick, the former can perform an uppercut to stun the latter, allowing for many punches.
After losing at least two fifths of his health, Ninja Kong will begin the second (and final) phase. Here, his punches are stronger, and he can perform a series of kicks to attack Donkey Kong. If Donkey Kong deals damage to defeat Ninja Kong, the former will earn one to four crests in the original Donkey Kong Jungle Beat and one to three in the enhanced New Play Control! port for the Wii.
