The Flare Ball is an item in Mario Kart Arcade GP and Mario Kart Arcade GP DX. It takes the appearance of a yellow ball bearing eyes and its tongue sticking out. It creates a flash bang to blind the other drivers, and is placed behind the kart. It resembles a Taunt Ball from Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.
