Paon DP Corporation, Ltd. is a Japanese video game company founded on January 20, 1999. This company was originally simply called Paon Corporation, but merged in 2015 with DP Co., Ltd. to receive its current name. Following the departure of Rare from Nintendo, Paon received the rights to work and build upon the Donkey Kong franchise; the end result would become DK: King of Swing, DK: Jungle Climber, and Donkey Kong Barrel Blast. Paon also co-developed Mario & Luigi: Dream Team alongside AlphaDream, and assisted in the development of Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
