The Falcon Flyer is Captain Falcon's ship seen in Super Smash Bros. Melee in the Big Blue stage. It is the largest "platform" in the stage; however, soon, the Falcon Flyer will fly off the stage, forcing players to use other platforms or cars as something to stand on. The Falcon Flyer also gets a trophy in Melee. Super Smash Bros. Brawl features the Big Blue as an unlockable stage-the Falcon Flyer once again returns in the stage having the exact same purpose.
In the Subspace Emissary, after Captain Falcon's team tries to stop the R.O.B.s from destroying the factory his team is on, Falcon finds out it is no use so he calls his Falcon Flyer. Captain Falcon tells his team (Samus, Pikachu, Olimar, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong) and now R.O.B. to follow him. The party agrees and get on the Flyer, with the intention to escape the factory, but Meta Ridley attacks the ship. However, Ridley is defeated and the ship escapes before they are sent to Subspace. The Falcon Flyer then meets the Halberd and the two ships pick up everyone at the desert.
The Falcon Flyer is next seen trying to stop Ganondorf and Bowser's Subspace Gunship along with Olimar's Hocotate Ship, Falco's Arwing and Samus' Gunship. Kirby, on the Dragoon, is able to stop them. After the Falcon Flyer enters Subspace, it is unknown what happens to the ship. However, it appears everyone inside it jumped out of the ship.

Captain Falcon's speedy midsize star cruiser boasts an on-board computer that allows Falcon to control it remotely ... perhaps that's why it's never appeared on-screen in an F-Zero game. Without this ship, Falcon couldn't prowl the galaxy like a lone wolf: the Blue Falcon is a state-of-the-art machine, but it's only used for F-Zero races. |
