The Dragon Wario from Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3

It first appeared in Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, where it could be activated by touching a Dragon Pot. Upon obtaining the power-up, he puts on a seemingly-mechanical dragon helmet. When in Dragon form, Wario cannot perform his body slam and instead gains the ability to shoot continuous bursts of fire from the helmet's nostrils, allowing him to defeat enemies from a distance and quickly break through lots of blocks at once. The attack works differently underwater, using a short-ranged laser beam instead of flames to attack.

The next time Wario could get these powers was in Virtual Boy Wario Land by obtaining the Dragon Hat.

The form also appears in Wario: Master of Disguise and works similarly, although it can be used throughout a level and takes the form of a full costume rather than simply a helmet. Dragon Wario falls through thin floors in Wario: Master of Disguise, assumedly because he is very heavy in this form, as evidenced by the fact that he cannot jump very high. Unlike in Wario Land, this form does not work underwater. However, he can now swim in lava and can have blue fire if he gains a mastery gem. Dragon Wario somewhat resembles a Kritter in this game.
