Template:Anotherlanguage Template:Articleabout Template:Species-infobox Stingers[1] are flying insect enemies from Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. They will attack Donkey Kong by flying toward him if he gets too close; contact with them will cause him to lose beats. However, if Donkey Kong uses the Sound Wave Attack, they will be defeated. Donkey Kong will get one beat for every Stinger he defeats that gets close enough.
Stingers appear in several kingdoms throughout the game. A sub-species called Armored Stingers also appear in the Durian Kingdom; using the sound wave attack will cause them to turn into normal stingers, which can then be defeated.
