Template:Articleabout Template:Species-infobox Buckies (バッキー[1]) are bat enemies in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. When they appear, Buckies lie in wait, hanging upside down on the ceiling of the area. If Donkey Kong gets too close to a Bucky, they will fly at him, damaging him if they hit him. By using the sound wave attack, they will be stunned, floating in midair for a few seconds before the effect wears off and they fly back toward the ceiling. If Donkey Kong grabs it, he can kick it at the ceiling, causing it to explode and leaving three beats behind. If any Buckies are in their path as they fly up, they will be defeated as well.
Buckies first appear in the Apple Kingdom's level Massive Canyon. They later appear in the Lemon Kingdom's level Cactus Mine.
