A Helper Monkey waits in a gap near the rope, and it throws the ape to another monkey in a narrow passage shaped like a sideways V. At the end of the passage is a Flurl, who can float the ape towards a current of air. The current, coming from a small, pink flower, can push the buddy over a wall, where another Flurl waits. A set of two walls leading into a higher room is on the other side of this wall, and the ape can [[wall jump]] up them to enter a new area, where there is a pathway leading into a small gap. The gap, which is hardly big enough to let the ape through, leads to another Helper Monkey.
To the left of this monkey are two ropes, which can be swung on to reach some stair platforms. A pool of water is on the top stair. A wall is in the center top of the pool, making a U shaped pathway in the water. On the other side of the pool are many large stairs formed in the stone pathway, as well as a wall that can be climbed to reach a Helibird. The bird is able to fly to ape through a wide area. Trees grow in the background of this area, and some pink flowers are present around the track to push the Helibird upwards faster. Another Helibird waits farther above this rocky area in its nest to help the ape if he falls. In a small gap ever higher up, there are many small, yellow fairies, and above them are a few more air currents, which push the Helibird towards the creatures. If the fairies are hit by a sound wave, they form a trampoline, which can bounce the ape onto a higher, rocky pathway. Sphere-shaped rocks roll down this bumpy path, and a slanted pathway is farther ahead. The pathway drops down to a flat surface, where another vertical, yellow line is present. If this is crossed, the race ends. A giant star fruit grows on a branch near here, and if the Kong bites into it, the level ends.

Template:DKJB Kingdom The Star Fruit Kingdom is the sixteenth and final kingdom in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat and the fourth kingdom linked to the B Barrel. The kingdom is located in outer space on an asteroid. The Star Fruit Kingdom can be accessed by completing the Chili Pepper Kingdom and collecting forty-one Crests. Donkey Kong travels through this area in order to fight Sumo Kong, the ruler of the kingdom. As in all kingdoms, Donkey Kong eats a giant fruit at the end of every level here, particularly a star fruit. Once Donkey Kong completes this kingdom and collects fifty-one crests, he is able to fight Ghastly King.

Levels

Ninjape Rally

Ninjape Rally is the first area of the Star Fruit Kingdom. Being one of the very last levels in the game, it features many different obstacles and mechanisms that the ape must quickly use to win a race against three Ninjapes. One of these obstacles are the Jungle Buddies that appear in the stage: Flurl the Squirrels and Helibirds. Helper Monkeys also help Donkey Kong in this level by tossing him to different areas. Other obstacles include ropes, falling rocks, and a small area of water that must be swum through. At the end of the level, Donkey Kong bites into a star fruit that takes him to the final non-boss level of the game, Asteroid Belt.

Although winning the race is optional, earning a better place in the race can give the Kong more beats to gather more Crests with. First place gives the ape 500 beats, second place awards him with 300 beats, and third place awards him with 100 beats. Last place, however, gives the ape no extra beats.

Level Layout

The level begins on a flat surface near a vertical, yellow line. Behind this line are four Ninjapes. Once the ape passes the line, the race begins, and the four Ninjapes quickly dash to the end of the level with Donkey Kong. The beginning of the race features some slanted pathways, which are slippery enough that the ape can slide down. A pole must be jumped over on the way down, and some large stairs follow this obstacle. A platform is just above this with another pole on top of it. At the top of the stairs is a tightrope, which, like the pathway before, is slanted to allow the ape to slide down. A set of two walls leading into a higher room is on the other side of this wall, and the ape can wall jump up them to enter a new area, where there is a pathway leading into a small gap.

Asteroid Belt

Asteroid Belt is the second part of the Star Fruit Kingdom. This level takes place inside of many large, round asteroids in outer space. Dragon heads appear throughout the stage to transfer the Kong to different asteroids and planets. The interior of the asteroids are usually very dark, and their round surface make them harder to climb. At the end of the level, the Jungle Buddy, Hoofer the Wildebeest appears, as well as the giant boss enemy, Iguanagon, who can optionally be fought. A hog enemy can also be found in this level, and it throws coconuts at the ape from its palm tree. After the ape bites into the star fruit at the end of this level, he heads to the battle against Sumo Kong.
