A Pick (Japanese: ピック, Pikku) is an enemy that looks similar to a tentacle without the squid. It is featured in Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins and is only found in the last level of the Pumpkin Zone, where Sabasa is fought. The Pick is just splashing around, making it extra creepy. It can be defeatable with a single jump. They are very rare, there are at least two Picks found in that level
