An Umbrelloid is an enemy from Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. These one-eyed umbrellas are found near the end of the second level in the Pumpkin Zone. They spend most of their time laying on the ground, but when Mario gets too close to them, they will unfold and chase him by gliding through the air. An Umbrelloid can be defeated by a jump or a fireball. They are based on the Karakasa or Kasa-Obake, a yōkai spirit from Japanese mythology.They also look like the Kirby midboss known as Jumpershoot.[1]
