Just like Mushroom Coins, Beanbean Coins are small, round and made of gold. The only known differences are that these coins are only accepted in the Beanbean Kingdom and are worth much more than Mushroom Coins. They look exactly like Mushroom Coins.
The exchange rate is very varied and changes every day. In the beginning of the game Mario and Luigi pays Tolstar around 100 Mushroom Coins (depends on how much you picked up earlier) wich translates into 10 Beanbean Coins thus maiking the exchange rate 10:1. Later in the game when they win the bet against Prince Pealsey the 99,999,999,999,999 Mushroom Coins translate into 99 Beanbean Coins making the exchange rate about 1010101010.0909:1.
