Donkey Kong had to [[jump]] over them to pass through. Donkey Kong used a vine trampoline to jump up a cliff and encountered a [[Hog]] in a tree. The Hog threw [[coconut]]s at Donkey Kong from above. Donkey Kong hit coconuts back at the Hog, causing the Hog to be defeated and the tree to be destroyed. Near the end of the level, a large three-eyed mechanical spider impeded his progress. Donkey Kong defeated it by hitting its big middle eye.
