Chopperbird Race is the first area of the Lemon Kingdom. The level takes place in a forest set in autumn time. Donkey Kong raced a [[Ninjape]] to the end of the level with [[Helibird]]s. In the middle of the race, a two-way junction appeared. If Donkey Kong went to the left side, he would hit a dead end. If he went to the right side, he would reach the end of the level. Winning the race is not required, but if Donkey Kong had won, he would be awarded 300 beats. Donkey Kong ate the giant lemon and moved on to the next level.

Cactus Mine is the second area of the Lemon Kingdom. The level takes place in a desert filled with cacti. The level starts with a rockfall falling down a slope. Donkey Kong had to [[jump]] over them to pass through. Donkey Kong used a vine trampoline to jump up a cliff and encountered a [[Hog]] in a tree. The Hog threw [[coconut]]s at Donkey Kong from above. Donkey Kong hit coconuts back at the Hog, causing the Hog to be defeated and the tree to be destroyed. Near the end of the level, a large three-eyed mechanical spider impeded his progress. Donkey Kong defeated it by hitting its big middle eye. After Donkey Kong ate the giant lemon he fought Fleet Rock or Mo-Hog depending on the version.
