Super Chance is an unlockable technique for Yoshi in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. It is a similar technique to Mario's M-Power, being a support move that grants nearby allies temporary powerful buffs that greatly increase damage output. Super Chance grants a guaranteed critical hit and Super Effect for the weapon. It costs 20 Power Orbs to equip and it initially takes 3 turns to recharge after it is used.

Bucklers, except Tropical Bucklers, have their version of Super Chance that grant themselves and nearby enemies with the buff.

Strategy[edit]

Super Chance is a solid technique for Yoshi, and its excellent buffs are likely the reason players choose Yoshi for their teams. Since Rumblebangs (Yoshi's primary weapon) have a random range of damage from its multi-hit nature as well as low chances to inflict a status effect, Super Chance plays to this weapon's strengths and patches its weaknesses by maximizing its damage output and guaranteeing the status effect. In the single player campaign, since Mario is always required and likely has accessed M-Power and its multiple potent upgrades by the time Yoshi is unlocked can use Super Chance, Super Chance and M-Power can be stacked together to inflict ridiculous damage on the enemy team. If players want to specialize in seeing how high the damage numbers can go, then Rabbid Mario with his Boomshot and Melee weapons can be chosen. Unlike M-Power, however, Super Chance's cooldown can be upgraded to only a 2-turn cooldown, as opposed to a 1-turn cooldown for M-Power, possibly to limit players abusing both abilities every other turn. A difference of 1 turn may be insignificant, but the overall lesser damage output from turns being spent recharging rather than buffing teammates is noticeable. Super Chance does boast higher range than M-Power after upgrades, which makes it slightly less dependent on allies' positioning than M-Power.
