Karasu Dūke are enemies in Princess Peach: Showtime!, and are members of the Sour Bunch. They are a short, round type of Dūke that can fly using bird wings, and wear a headgear resembling a dark green crow, as well as a beak on their masks and purple talons for shoes. They first appear in Ninjutsu: The Art of Rapids, during the auto-run scenes, where they fly either up and down, or forwards. Ninja Peach will lose one health point when touching a Karasu Dūke, but can defeat them in one hit when performing a slice attack. Some Karasu Dūke are holding a Ninja Theet in their talons; defeating the Karasu Dūke will free the Theet. Karasu Dūke also appear in an auto-run scene of The Dark Ninja & the Legion of Guards, where they fly in place as obstacles.
Karasu Dūke also appear in Welcome to the Festival of Sweets, where they make off with all the sweets for the festival. In her normal form, Peach can defeat some of them with Sparkle, but is required to bake new cookies and decorate cakes as Patissiere Peach to make up for the lost goods. Furthermore, two Karasu Dūke are shown accompanying the Halloween Dūke in Welcome to the Spooky Party, carrying trays of suspicious sweets that turns the Theets corrupt.
The Karasu Dūke is one of the few types of Dūke with a short, rounder design as well as a rounder mask, compared to the typical Dūke design. Other Dūke like this are the Kōmori Dūke and its ghost variant, the Tsubonage Dūke, and the Dancer Dūke.
