Kenshi Dūkes are enemies in Princess Peach: Showtime!, and are members of the Sour Bunch. They first appear in The Castle of Thorns. Kenshi Dūkes wear a gray helmet with a small purple plume. Kenshi Dūkes will approach Princess Peach, and occasionally try to strike her with their swords. If Princess Peach is hit either by their swords or touches them directly, she will take damage. Swordfighter Peach may counter their sword strikes if 
or 
are pressed while a Kenshi Dūke is swinging in her direction, but before damage is dealt. They can be defeated with two hits of Swordfighter Peach's sword.
In a side-scrolling section of The Castle of Thorns, Kenshi Dūkes have a unique appearance, wearing the same helmets as Heishi Dūkes. In this area, Kenshi Dūkes attempt to charge to the bottom of the tower and swarm Princess Peach if they encounter her. Kenshi Dūkes cannot jump to chase after Princess Peach, and may only charge forward.
