Gunman Dūke are enemies in Princess Peach: Showtime!, and are members of the Sour Bunch. They are a variant of the Narazumono Dūke that wear a light blue shirt, a bandana around their neck, and a black cowboy hat, acting alongside them as the primary enemies in the Wild West levels. Most notably, they possess a purple pistol, which they shoot rubber bullets with when Peach is in their vicinity. In Cowgirl in the Wilderness, the two Gunman Dūke get merely stunned for a few seconds when Sparkle is used on them, but cannot be defeated with Sparkle Power; however, the Gunman Dūke that appears on the second floor balcony of the building next door does get defeated with Sparkle Power. Gunman Dūke can typically be defeated with a single lasso swing from Cowgirl Peach. During horse chase scenes, Gunman Dūke also tend to ride on Badness Horses, but are similarly defeated with a lasso pull.
