"The Duel"[1] is a musical theme in Princess Peach: Showtime!, where it plays during the boss battles against the Yami no Kyodai Ibara in The Castle of Thorns and the Dark Swordfighter in The Dark Swordfighter & the Arena.

Princess Peach: Showtime! marks the first appearance of "The Duel".
Tetris 99[edit]
In Tetris 99, the original version of "The Duel" plays when there are 10 or less players remaining while the Princess Peach: Showtime! theme is in use.
