Players next to a Z-Banana Bunch

Z-Bananas are a type of banana that appears on DK's Jungle Ruins in Mario Party 9. They are purple-colored bananas acting as the equivalent to Mini Ztars (or regular Ztars) on this board. Like bananas, Z-Bananas appear singularly or in bunches across the board; collecting one causes the player to lose one banana, and collecting a bunch causes them to lose three. It is possible to receive Z-Bananas in the second Captain Event of DK's Jungle Ruins, but there are none in the boss minigames of the board.
