Peachy Peach

Peachy Peaches are a type of round, pink fruit available in both Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Super Paper Mario. The item can be created as the result of a failed cooking attempt, usually involving an offensive item such as the Fire Flower. The Peachy Peach is a restorative item, and its effects can be improved through cooking.
The cooking properties of the Peachy Peach are very unusual. The item can combine with other items that are relatively useless alone to create much better items. Some items can even become higher quality versions of themselves as a result of a combination with a Peachy Peach.
The Thousand-Year Door version of the item restores only one Health Point and two Flower Points on its own, but after being cooked alone or with other ingredients, its effects become much greater. The fruits that are found in Super Paper Mario are slightly more effective as curative items, restoring seven HP in addition to curing Poison.
During his adventures, Mario never came across the plant that grows Peachy Peaches. Rather, he found them being sold or offered as complimentary benefits. During his quest for the Crystal Stars, the plumber was offered one as a thank-you present for staying in the inn at Twilight Town. The owner silently left it on the table for his guest. While stopping the plans of Count Bleck, Mario saw them in Inga's Inn, where he would get one if he flipped into 3-D after choosing the Flower package. He also could buy them at the Itty Bits store in the Dotwood Tree. They are sold for twenty-five Coins there. Most cheaply, can be bought from Flimm for 19 coins.

- In the Animal Crossing series the peaches look similar to Peachy Peaches.
- During the events of Super Paper Mario, a Pink Apple would turn Princess Peach into a Peachy Peach when she was asleep under the Golden Apple tree. The same is with Cyrrus the Cloud.
