Member of	Sour Bunch

Yari Dūkes are enemies in Princess Peach: Showtime!, and are members of the Sour Bunch. They are first encountered in The Castle of Thorns, after the start of the Swordfighter Peach section. Yari Dūkes wear gray helmets similar to Sword sours, with a purple crest plume and a rounded shield. Yari Dūkes will strafe around Princess Peach, and after a period of time, charge at her with their spear. If Princess Peach strays too far from the path of a Yari Dūke's charge, it will come to a skidding halt, and return to strafing around Princess Peach. If a Yari Dūke touches a wall, it will return to strafing. If Princess Peach either touches the spear, or their body, she will take damage.

Yari Dūkes will block Swordfighter Peach's sword strikes from the front, requiring them to either be struck from behind to be damaged. If the player presses or before the Yari Dūke's spear touches Swordfighter Peach, she will execute a counter-attack that places her behind the Yari Dūke. Yari Dūkes are defeated after two strikes from Swordfighter Peach's sword.
