Monty-Mole-B-Gone is the eleventh level of Yoshi's Crafted World, and the second level of Origami Gardens. It is the second minigame level in the game which means that certain rules are applied to the level. The objective is to defeat as many Monty Moles as possible before the end of the level.

Front side[edit]

The level begins with a Message Block near a board showing how many Monty Moles must be defeated to earn Smiley Flowers. After Yoshi goes through one-way flippers, the level starts autoscrolling to the right.

A few Monty Moles appearing from the ground appear first. Tape that unrolls when Yoshi stands on it is found, with coins below it. A Winged Cloud with hearts in it appears next. More Monty Moles appear ahead, with one carried by an Item Balloon. Some Monty Moles peek out from crafted watermelons in the background, closing them after some time. A pit with three platforms above it is next, with rolled tape below the platforms. Crafted sunflowers are later found, with leaves that Yoshi can walk on. Afterward, a larger pit appears with rolled tape that Yoshi must use to cross it. A pot with four Monty Moles running in a circle appears, with one carrying a 10 Coin. More Monty Moles are found in the background, with a big Monty Mole also present. After a bridge of rolled tape, another Winged Cloud with hearts is found. Next, large dirt area is seen in the background with three Monty Moles, one carrying a 10 Coin. Three big Monty Moles appear halfway across it, with an Egg Block nearby that Yoshi can hit. After three Monty Moles carried by Item Balloons, Yoshi reaches the goal.

Flip side[edit]

The background is revealed to be light brown on the flip side, as opposed to blue on the front side. Monty Moles still move towards Yoshi. The light blue Poochy Pup is found on a large dirt area in the background. It starts behind a tomato and walks with some Monty Moles as the camera moves. The black Poochy Pup runs around two tomatoes with Monty Moles, on a planter in the background. A spring now appears on the breakable block near the alcove with the four Monty Moles running in a circle. Those Monty Moles no longer have a 10 Coin. In a group of three watermelon crafts, the pink Poochy Pup is found in the one on the right. The other two contain Monty Moles.

Smiley Flowers[edit]

  • Smiley Flower 1: Obtained on a high spot near a Monty Mole carried by an Item Balloon.
  • Smiley Flower 2: Directly after the first flower, under a platform. Yoshi can throw an egg to get it.
  • Smiley Flower 3: Under rolled tape in plain sight. This flower can be hit with an egg.
  • Smiley Flower 4: Obtained by unraveling a piece of tape allowing Yoshi to hover to the flower.
  • Smiley Flower 5: Automatically collected for defeating 45 Monty Moles.
  • Smiley Flower 6: Automatically collected for defeating 60 Monty Moles.
  • Smiley Flower 7: Automatically collected for defeating 75 Monty Moles.

Three more Smiley Flowers are awarded for collecting at least 100 coins in the level, completing the level with 20 hearts, and collecting all 20 Red Coins.

Found on the flip side:

  • Cabbage 1: On the rightmost planter of the spot where the light blue Poochy Pup is found.
  • Cabbage 2: In the foreground, in the alcove where the fourth Smiley Flower was found.
  • Cabbage 3: Right near the second cabbage, on a planter in the background with two digging Monty Moles on it.
  • Cabbage 4: After the spot with the spring, on a pot farther in the background.
  • Cabbage 5: In the last spot with rolled tape. Yoshi must unroll the tape to reach it.
  • Cabbage 6: On a planter in the background, just before the goal.

Found on the front side:

  • Turnip: In the background, right after the fourth Smiley Flower.

Found on the flip side:

  • Radish: On a pot in the background that can be reach by ground-pounding two breakable blocks, after the flowers with leaf platforms.

Shortly after the pot with the Monty Moles having a 10 Coin, Sprout is found on a slanted brick in the background.
