Little High-High Island is the secret level of High-High Island in DK: Jungle Climber and the fifth and final "miniature island" in the game. While it is included among the other levels of High-High Island, Little High-High Island is a smaller, individual version of High-High Island with the same environment as Kremling Dock.
To unlock the level, the player must collect both of the oil barrels found on High-High Island to power Funky Kong's airplane. Like the other miniature islands seen in the game, Little High-High Island does not have KONG Panels or oil barrels to collect.
Layout[edit]
The Kongs start out on a small platform with some pegs moving in a clockwise circle above them. On the right side of the circle's interior is a rock, which they can throw to take out two mines on either side of a Peg Board above the pegs. Four pegs rotating in a circle and grouped into two are above the Peg Board, with the first Banana Coin below and to the right of the circle; the Kongs must toss a nearby rock into the coin to collect it. They must also toss the rock into three mines above the circle so they can safely jump off the pegs and onto a ledge on the left. From this ledge, the Kongs should jump up to a peg moving left and right, then to a circle of moving pegs with another rock near the left; they can toss it at a mine above and to the left with two pegs orbiting it and another mine moving left to right above the two pegs. With the mines dispatched, they can jump up to a Jack Peg, which, when pulled down repeatedly, causes the four Peg Boards above it to rise up for some time. The leftmost Peg Board rises to the level of three mines to its right, while the other three rise in a diagonal line above the mines. The second Banana Coin is above the leftmost rising Peg Board; it can be collected by grabbing the Peg Board after it reaches the apex, then jumping into the coin immediately. By jumping across the Peg Boards over the mines, the Kongs will reach the ledge that takes them into the second section.
Two more circles of pegs rotating clockwise are above the beginning of the second section, which the Kongs should climb up to reach a gear-shaped peg on a vertical track near four static pegs. The Kongs should grab the pegs as they spin the gear clockwise to bypass a mine moving left and right to reach the bottom. From here, they must move across another clockwise circle of moving pegs to find another gear-shaped peg on a vertical track; if the Kongs spin it counterclockwise and up, then jump before they touch the spikes on the ceiling above them, they will land in an alcove on the left containing the third Banana Coin. By spinning the gear clockwise and down, they can jump to the right to find a Switch Peg with a bomb next to it. Pulling down the Switch Peg causes the floor above it to open and a gap to the right of this floor to close. If the Kongs toss a bomb upward after pulling down the Switch Peg so that the bomb lands on the newly-opened floor, the bomb will take out a TNT Barrel and an Iron Barrel with its explosion, allowing the Kongs to enter the alcove to the right of the barrels and collect the fourth Banana Coin. Above the floor and the Switch Peg is a single peg moving left and right, followed by two more circles of moving pegs further up; the Kongs must use these pegs to jump past a mine as it moves up and down to reach a ledge with the entrance to the third area.
At the beginning of the third area are several single pegs, each moving in a different circle. By moving across these pegs, the Kongs will reach two Peg Boards; above them are two pairs of pegs moving towards each other, each with a horizontally moving mine above it. The Kongs must scale the pegs while dodging the mines to arrive at two Peg Boards with a DK Barrel near them; above them is a Peg Board with a Cannon Barrel above it, and to their left are three circles of rotating pegs with several static mines nearby. The fifth Banana Coin is below the second circle of pegs; the Kongs must avoid the mines as the pegs rotate to collect it. To the left of the peg circles are two Peg Boards and some pegs nearby; above them are some pegs moving on two separate tracks past some static mines. The Kongs should alternate between the pegs on the tracks to arrive at a Cannon Barrel at the top, which fires them toward more single pegs moving in circles. The level's DK Coin is above a small Peg Board and the Cannon Barrel; the Kongs can collect it moving across the circling pegs to the left. Above the circling pegs is a Switch Peg, which needs to be pulled down to open a gate on the ledge to the right. The Kongs must then continue across the pegs to the ledge, where they will find the Goal Gate.
