The list of implied organizations is a list of organizations that have not physically appeared up in any form of media to this point in time. Regardless of their lack of appearance, implied organizations have been mentioned at least once throughout the Super Mario franchise. They are listed here, sorted by their first mention.
Saturday Supercade[edit]
Hollywood Reporter[edit]
The Hollywood Reporter, also known as the Hollywood Tatler[sic], is a newspaper company featured in the Saturday Supercade episode "Movie Mania", appearing as the publisher of Clovis's newspaper. When planning to get revenge at Donkey Kong and Flint Westwood after the latter fires him, he reads about The Return of the Phantom in the newspaper, deciding to pose as the "Phantom", its titular character.
Moving Ace[edit]
Moving Ace is a moving company appearing on a moving truck in the Saturday Supercade episode "Magnificent Seven-Year Olds". During the episode, when Donkey Kong Jr. chases after Mickey and Stretch after they steal Alan's bicycle, he bounces on the mattress of a bed two movers of the company are carrying.
Tyson Trucks[edit]
Tyson Trucks is an apparent truck company featured in the Saturday Supercade episode "Trucknapper Caper", appearing as a poster inside Turnpike Tex Truck Stop. Not much else is known about the company.

Birdie Lovers[edit]
The Birdie Lovers is a bird-watching group mentioned in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! live-action-segment "Lost Dog," which Luigi is apparently a member of. At the beginning of the segment, when Mario calls Luigi's whistling ridiculous, Luigi responds that Mario's chipmunk imitations are ridiculous, and tells Mario that he is preparing for his Birdie Lovers meeting.
Later, as Pam Matteson cries after Mario says that none of the dogs he sees on Mario Brothers Plumbing's periscope are her lost dog Ike, Luigi picks up the phone and tells Rowley that he is not forgotten about the Birdie Lovers meeting this weekend, and that he will meet them.

Board of Sanitation[edit]
The Board of Sanitation is a committee mentioned in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! live-action segment "Toupee," which Inspector Klean is a member of. Its purpose is to inspect businesses to ensure that they are in compliance with sanitation standards, shutting down businesses that fail to comply.
During the segment, Inspector Klean comes to Mario Brothers Plumbing to inspect the business. During his time at the business, he deducts points from the business for several violations, such as keeping moldy food and leaky pipes. He eventually evicts Mario and Luigi for "attacking a city official" when they try to get Clog off his head, though changes his mind when he realizes that his hair grew back, saying that he had not hade since he was five years old.

Brooklyn Dodgers[edit]
The Brooklyn Dodgers is a fictional Brooklyn baseball team in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, coached by Tommy Lasagna and named after the MLB team of the same name. By the time The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! began airing, the real Brooklyn Dodgers had relocated to Los Angeles, where they became the Los Angeles Dodgers.
During the live-action segment "Two Bums From Brooklyn", Mario and Luigi hoped Mr. Lasagna would recruit them for the team. Unimpressed with both their skills and their cooking, Mr. Lasagna decided to bring their meatballs back for his team to practice with in lieu of actual baseballs, and offered them jobs tossing peanuts at ballgames.

Brooklyn Plumbing School[edit]
The Brooklyn Plumbing School is a school at which at which Mario and Luigi were members of the band for three years. The band is called the Brooklyn Plumbing School Band. The only mention of these organizations was by Mario and Luigi during The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! animated episode "The Pied Koopa". During the episode, Toad asks the brothers if they can play the instruments they had created out of Bowser's Castle's plumbing. Luigi responded that they had been in the band. Mario commented that they were thrown out for eating during a concert. Luigi maintains that he was not, but had simply held Mario's salami sandwich while his brother turned the page. Because of this, it can be inferred know they sat in close proximity. Mario had made a trumpet while Luigi created a trombone, two instruments that are classically situated nearby one another.

The Brooklyn Utility Co. is an electric company mentioned in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! live-action segment "Treasure of the Sierra Brooklyn". It is mentioned on warning placard on some wires, which mentions that removing the wires will result in the power in Brooklyn going out.
Bull Oil Company[edit]
Bull Oil Company is an oil company briefly mentioned in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, in the live-action segment, "Texas Tea". Ted Bull, upon introducing himself in the beginning of the episode, tells Mario and Luigi that he is known to be the owner of the oil company.

Chippie Chipmunks[edit]
The Chippie Chipmunks are a group of people mentioned during The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! in the same-titled live-action segment "Chippie Chipmunks".
The Chippie Chipmunks are dedicated to performing good deeds towards others; Mr. Gibbel is known to be a high-ranking member. Members wear a brown costume with a chipmunk emblem on the front with a matching chipmunk hat, and greet other Chipmunks in a chipmunk-like manner. The Chippie Chipmunks have a contest every month to see which member is worthy of becoming Chipmunk of the Month through performing enough good deeds. The winner is evaluated on a points system, and receive a Secret Chippie Decoder Ring at a special awards ceremony roughly one week after winning.

Ding-a-Ling Bros. Circus[edit]
The Ding-a-Ling Bros. Circus is a circus mentioned in both television series The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! and Donkey Kong Country. Its name is a reference to the real-life Ringling Brothers Circus.
In The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, it is mentioned during the live-action segment "Gorilla My Dreams", where a news broadcast informs that a gorilla had escaped from the circus and warns citizens to keep their doors locked.
It is mentioned again in Donkey Kong Country during the song "Tell Me Everything" where Donkey Kong mentions that he has tickets for it after being told by Inka Dinka Doo that he must give up everything to know the secrets about the Crystal Coconut.

IRS[edit]
The Internal Revenue Service, commonly abbreviated as the IRS, is the revenue service for the United States federal government, responsible for collecting federal taxes and administering the Internal Revenue Code, the main body of the federal statutory tax law. In The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! live-action segment "Fake Bro," Luigi mentions that the IRS has assessed Mario Brothers Plumbing for $900,000 in unpaid taxes.
McBronx Vacuum Company[edit]
The McBronx Vacuum Company is a made-up business mentioned by Luigi in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! live-action segment "Rowdy Roddy's Rotten Pipes". Pidgit Express[edit]
The Pidgit Express is an organization briefly mentioned in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Mario's Magic Carpet". Little is known of the Pidgit Express, though it is possible it is a mercenary group, as King Koopa, through a phone call, hires a dozen Pidgits to attack Mario, Luigi, Toad, and the genie's flying carpet through it. However, only nine Pidgits come. The name may be a play on the defunct low-cost airline People Express.

Slime Busters is an organization comprised of members who specialize in ridding residencies of Slime Ghosts. The Slime Busters' are heavily based on the Ghostbusters, an organization dedicated to ghost hunting made famous by its self-titled films; their first successful capture was the ghost later known as Slimer.
In the live-action segment of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, in the episode Slime Busters, Mario Brothers Plumbing contact the Slime Busters to take care of a Slime Ghost infestation. The Slime Busters send Ernie Hudson, known for playing Winston Zeddemore in both Ghostbusters films, to take care of their problem.

Carabinieri[edit]
The Carabinieri (Italian: Arma dei Carabinieri) is the national gendarmerie of Italy, mainly performing domestic and foreign policing duties. It replaces the United States Marine Corps from the original version of The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 episode "The Venice Menace". During the episode, the Venice pizza man urges Mario and his friends to call the police and the Carabinieri, as a sea monster is attacking his home city of Venice.
Mushroom Wrestling Federation[edit]
The Mushroom Wrestling Federation is an organization that hosts wrestling matches in the Mushroom Kingdom. It is a parody of the World Wrestling Federation, now known as World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
The Mushroom Wrestling Federation was only ever mentioned in The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 episode "Tag Team Trouble". In the episode, they were hosting a Tag Team Wrestling Tournament, which had a one-million Gold Coin grand prize.

The United States Marine Corps, commonly referred to as the Marines, is the maritime land force service of the United States Department of Defense. In The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 episode "The Venice Menace", the Venice pizza man urges Mario and his friends to call the polices and the Marines, as a sea monster is attacking his home city of Venice.
In the Italian dub, the United States Marine Corps is replaced by the Carabinieri.
Nintendo Comics System[edit]
Apook Corporation[edit]
The Apook Corporation is a corporate conglomerate from the Super Mario Bros. comic series. It sells and produces most of the commercial products in the Mushroom Kingdom, with its most notable retailer being the Koopamart. It is implied that it is run by King Koopa for the members of his Koopa clan, which is further supported by the name "Apook" being "Koopa" spelled backwards. However, Mario and his friends also seem to use Apook products from time to time.
The corporation is mentioned by Mario in "Tanooki Suits Me,” who tricks Wart into believing that the art he bought from King Koopa are products of the Apook Corporation, and would turn into worthless raccoons in ten minutes. It is also mentioned in "The Revenge of Pipe Ooze!" as being the owner of Burger World, a restaurant known for selling items like Slime Burgers, Lard Fries, and Mold Shakes. In "The Kingdom Enquirer", Toad receives his graduation package from The Apook Correspondence School of Journalism, Hotel Management and Transmission Repair"
Fungus Bureau of Investigation[edit]
The Fungus Bureau of Investigation is a government department mentioned in the Nintendo Comics System comic "Duh Stoopid Bomb!" Its name is a parody of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. During the comic, Wooster suddenly arrives in the castle war room and declares that they have new information from the bureau, which Luigi suspects is a message from Toad, who Princess Toadstool reveals previously been sent to infiltrate Bowser's castle.

The Organization of the Petroleum-Exporting Countries, commonly known by the acronym OPEC, is an international oil cartel designed to influence and coordinate the global trade of petroleum. The organization is known for moving the oil market away from companies controlled by the United States and United Kingdom, and now accounts for almost 80% of the world's crude oil. In the comic enclosed with White Knuckle Scorin', Bowser strives to join OPEC via his plan to turn Dinosaur Land into fossil fuel.

BBC[edit]
The BBC, short for "British Broadcasting Corporation", is a publicly owned broadcaster in the United Kingdom known for hosting the most significant news service of the nation, BBC News, as well as famous entertainment programs such as Doctor Who, EastEnders, and the Wallace & Gromit film franchise. In all versions of Mario is Missing!, Luigi has to answer a question about Big Ben's relationship to the BBC.
An official port of Donkey Kong Jr. was made but ultimately canceled for release on the BBC Micro, a computer branded with the corporation.[59]
Guinness[edit]
Guinness plc was an Irish company that produced Guinness beer. In 1997, the Guinness company would merge with Grand Metropolitan under the name Diageo, and relocate to London. In the PC version of Mario is Missing!, Luigi has to return a Guinness Beer Label to the St. James's Gate Brewery, referred to as the Guinness Brewery.
Guinness Brewery would spin off into the now-independent Guinness World Records, which appears in Wario's Warehouse and is referenced in PAC-MAN's trophy description in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.
Hafta Havit Hairdryer Hotline Corp[edit]
Hafta Havit Hairdryer Hotline Corp (HHHHC) is a mail-order company, presumably headquartered on Earth, mentioned in Mario is Missing!. Little is known about them apart from the fact that they sell hairdryers. Bowser ordered many hairdryers from them in his campaign to melt the Earth's polar ice caps. According to the Toronto headlines, "Stock Market Falls!", their stock went through the roof, and they blamed Luigi for their troubles. Their name is a pun on "have to have it."
The 'M' Club[edit]
The 'M' Club is a group consisting of Mayor Schmutznikov, Mayor Smallburg, Mayor Devotegetter, and either Mayor I. V. Gottserve or Mayor McCarthy. Its name comes the first initial of all the cities its members are mayors of: Moscow, Madrid, Mexico City, and Marrakech. A day before Luigi visited Kathmandu, they met in Montana, where they made a joint statement to the press that they were making Luigi an honorary member as thanks for saving their cities earlier in the game.
United Nations[edit]
The United Nations (Arabic: منظمة الأمم المتحدة, Munazamat al'Umam Almutahida; Chinese: 联合国; Pinyin; Liánhéguó; French: Organisation des Nations Unies; Russian: Организация Объединённых Наций, Organizatsiya Ob'yedinyonnykh Natsiy; Spanish: Organización de las Naciones Unidas) is an interntational organization dedicated to the maintenance of global stability and in particular the prevention of World War III. In the PC version of Mario is Missing!, Luigi visits the United Nations' headquarters in New York City and helps return the U.S. Flag when it is stolen from the building. Additionally, in both the PC and SNES versions, a scientist in Nairobi states that the Kenyatta Conference Center "was once a United Nations Headquarters" if Luigi shows him the revolving restaurant menu. Luigi must correctly recount this information when completing a quiz to prove the menu's legitimacy (in reality, the building only hosted the 1976 United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and was never used as a headquarters[60][61]).
