Scooter Pursuit is a 4-Player minigame that is found in Mario Party 8.

Introduction

The audience cheers as the players ride their scooters into the arena and move to their starting positions in the corners.

Gameplay

The players battle each other to score points by shooting balls at their opponents while avoiding being shot themselves. Each successful shot is worth one point; being hit leaves a player briefly stunned and unable to move or shoot for a few moments. The playfield is a square arena with a circular platform that serves to prevent players from shooting each other at the very beginning of the minigame. The player who has the most points after 30 seconds wins.

Ending

The audience cheers wildly for the winning player(s) as they celebrate, while the losing player(s) sulk(s) behind them.
