Scooter Pursuit is a 4-Player minigame that is found in Mario Party 8. Its gameplay is similar to the Mario Party 6 minigame Cannonball Fun.

Introduction[edit]

The audience cheers as the players ride their scooters into the arena and move to their starting positions in the corners.

Gameplay[edit]

The players battle each other to score points by shooting balls at their opponents while avoiding being shot themselves. Each successful shot is worth one point; being hit leaves a player briefly stunned and unable to move or shoot for a few moments. The play field is a square arena with a circular platform that serves to prevent players from shooting each other at the very beginning of the minigame.

The player who has the most points after 30 seconds wins.

Ending[edit]

The audience cheers wildly for the winning player as they celebrate, while the losing players sulk behind them.
