Scooter Pursuit is a 4-Player minigame that is found in Mario Party 8. Its gameplay is similar to the Mario Party 6 minigame Cannonball Fun.

The audience cheers as the players enter the arena riding their scooters. They move to their starting positions on each corner of the field.

The players battle each other by shooting balls at the opponents while avoiding being hit. If hit by a ball, the competitor is briefly stunned and unable to move or shoot. Each shot that hits an opponent grants the player one point.

The play-field is a square arena with a single obstacle, a circular platform that blocks the players from shooting directly at other players at the beginning of the minigame.

The player who has the most points at the end of the minigame wins.

The audience cheers wildly to the winning player, who does their victory pose with the losing players behind them.

In-game text[edit]

  • Hint"Cut off your foes' escape routes, then fire on them when they least expect it!"
