Shell Shocked Deluxe is a multiplayer Toad's Rec Room minigame appearing in Super Mario Party. As the name implies, it is very similar in concept to Shell Shocked from Mario Party 2.
Gameplay[edit]
The game begins with a field selection. Each player rides in their own tank that fires cannonballs that ricochet off walls. The goal for each player is to hit the opponent as many times as possible. After one minute has elapsed, the player(s) with the most hits win(s).
If two consoles are used, a four-player version is available, where players line up two consoles together and slide their fingers across the screens to create a bigger arena. Players can play in a free-for-all or 2-vs.-2 format where teams are locked into Player 1 and Player 3 vs. Player 2 and Player 4. As a result, it is not possible for two human players to be on the same team against two computer players or for a single human player to play against three computer-controlled opponents.
