Returning to the previous area, Yoshi must use a paddle wheel to cross the water, evading the Boo Guys on the ceiling throwing bombs at him. In between them are two Winged Clouds containing a Special Flower and Stars, respectively. At the end is a Middle Ring and a door that takes Yoshi to a dark room. Here, Yoshi must cross dark corridors and evade Clawdaddies before reaching the door to the next section.

This door takes Yoshi to a room with spikes on the floor. Yoshi must hit Winged Clouds to make bridges appear over them. Lemon Drops may appear on the ceiling. There is a Special Flower touching the third layer of spikes Yoshi may collect with an egg. After this, Yoshi must use a paddle wheel to cross a long layer of thorns, collecting the final Special Flower along the way. After this is a door which takes Yoshi to one last room with Frog Pirates, a Middle Ring, and a Dizzy Dandy next to the red door, which leads to the boss fight with Froggy.

Transformations
Yellow Yoshi will start the level in a misty swamp, with a Egg Plant, allowing him to collect Eggs. Yoshi will have to jump from platform to another, while dealing with Shy Guys, Spear Guys, and Cheep-Cheeps in the water. He'll have to hit a ? Cloud, to cause a bridge to appear. This bridge will allow him to reach a tall plain with a Grinder, and Thorns, which Yoshi must hit to reveal a hidden door. This door will lead Yoshi to a bonus area, where he can turn into Yoshi Submarine with the use of a Morph Bubble, and explore a vast lake, collecting Red Coins while dodging a spinning Mace. However, his time as submarine will be short, as he'll have to exit this area in the left. After the plain with the Grinder, Yoshi will find two Dizzy Dandys pretending to be Flowers, easily damaging the dinosaur if he's not careful. Right after this, Yoshi will find a door to the second area, which is a misty lake in a jungle, where Cheep-Cheeps jump out of the water in an attempt to harm Yoshi. He'll find a door here, which will lead him to another room in a jungle. Yoshi will find several Grinders and Short Fuses in this area, as well as Cheep-Cheeps. Yoshi will simply have to collect some Red Coins in a platform. However, he can also enter a door, which will lead him to a dark room with two Clawdaddys. If Yoshi defeats these two Clawdaddys, he'll gain a Flower. Since there's no other thing to do in this room, Yoshi must return to the previous area, where he must across an area with a spinning mace, and grey blocks that can be destroyed with eggs; there's a red coin here. Yoshi will also find a Spray Fish in the water, and a Flower near a spinning mace. He'll also find another door, leading to another watery room. This time, Yoshi must hit a Bucket with an egg, causing it to fall of the ceiling. Yoshi must then use it to across the water, while dealing with Cheep-Cheeps. He'll also find two red coins here. In the other side of the lake, Yoshi will find some Grinders hanging in the walls, and a ? Cloud containing a 1-UP. He must then return to the previous area, and use a Paddle Wheel to across the lake, but he must be careful, as there's Boo Guys in the ceiling throwing Bombs at him. He'll also find some red coins, and a ? Cloud containing a Flower in a platform. In the other side, Yoshi will find a Middle Ring and a door leading to a dark room. Here, Yoshi must across the dark corridors, while collecting red coins and defeating Clawdaddys. This is not a long room, however, as he'll find another door after the third corridor. This door will lead him to a room with Spikes in the floor, forcing him to hit ? Cloud in order to make platforms appear. There's also Lemon Drops in the ceiling. A flower above the spikes can be collected by hitting it with an egg. After this, Yoshi will have to use another Paddle Wheel to across a large area with Thorns in the floor, with the last flower in the middle of the route. After this, Yoshi must enter another door, which will lead him to a room with some Frog Pirates, a Dizzy Dandy, and the red door leading to the boss, Prince Froggy.

Prince Froggy's Fort is the fourth level in World 3 in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. It is the home of Froggy, the mid-boss of World 3. This level's playable Yoshi is the yellow Yoshi.

Overview[edit]

The first section of this level takes place in a misty swamp. Yoshi begins right next to an Egg Plant. Yoshi must head to the right while avoiding enemies such as Shy Guys, Spear Guys, and Floppy Fish. Hitting a Winged Cloud causes a bridge to appear, allowing Yoshi to reach a ledge with a Grinder. Below is a wall covered in thorns. Yoshi may throw eggs at the thorns to break them, revealing a Winged Cloud containing Stars as well as a hidden door.

This door takes Yoshi into a bonus area, where he must become a Submarine with the help of a morph bubble and travel through a small lake, collecting Red Coins and regular coins while dodging a Ball 'N' Chain. Just to the left is a Yoshi Block allowing Yoshi to return to normal and surface. At the very end of this first section is a Grinder between two Dizzy Dandies, as well as a door leading to the next area.

This section takes place in a misty lake in a jungle. Yoshi must avoid the Floppy Fish that jump out of the water toward him. When Yoshi spots a door, he may enter it to find a small room with a few Red Coins and another door. This door takes Yoshi to a small, dark room with two Clawdaddies. Defeating them both causes a Special Flower to appear. Returning to the previous area, Yoshi must head right past a Ball 'N' Chain and gray blocks he can destroy with eggs. There is another Special Flower nearby, though there is also a Spray Fish.

The next door takes Yoshi to a room with a bucket attached to the ceiling. Yoshi must throw an egg at it to knock it into the water, allowing him to cross while collecting Red Coins and avoiding Floppy Fish. On the other side of the lake are Grinders on the walls and a Winged Cloud containing an extra life.
