Chad is a playable character in the game Mario Tennis: Power Tour for the Game Boy Advance. He is one of the many opponents of Clay and Ace and is a power-type character. Chad is also one of several human characters created exclusively for the Mario Tennis series, as is his doubles partner, Mason. Both of them are ranked third in the Junior Class. Initially, Chad is supportive of Mason's claims of having "phenom powers", but this changes when he meets Clay and Ace, who become his examples of true tennis "phenoms".
