Buccaneros are a type of Bandinero that wield swords in Wario Land: Shake It! They are purple, with a yellow bandana-cap and a yellow-white-yellow pattern vest. They also have gray pants and yellow shoes. If Wario comes too close to these enemies, they try to attack him by swinging their sword wildly. These rare enemies only appear in two areas: the tutorial area (The Sweet Stuff) and occasionally during the battle against Large Fry.
One of the games several unused bosses involves a tower of Buccaneros standing on top of one another. It can be assumed that they would have played a larger role earlier in development.
