The first English opening theme of the Pokémon animated series, known officially as "Pokémon Theme," is a playable song exclusive to the North American version of Donkey Konga. It is a rock song written by John Siegler and John Loeffler and performed by Jason Paige.
Unlike many songs in the North American version of Donkey Konga, "Pokémon Theme" is not a cover. However, it is neither the short version broadcast as part of the anime nor the full extended version in Pokémon 2.B.A. Master—Donkey Konga's version of the song cuts after the second chorus with minimal audio editing.
