Hungarian Dance No.5 in G Minor

Hungarian Dance No.5 in G Minor is a classical composition originally based on a Hungarian tune that was written by German composer and pianist Johannes Brahms.

Brahms composed 21 dances, of which this song is the fifth, and compiled them into a series of books. Dance number 5 was based on a tune called "Bártfai emlék" (Memories of Bártfa) that was written by Hungarian composer Béla Kéler. Dance number 5 was also originally composed in the key of F♯ minor, but a later 1876 orchestration changed it to the key of G minor.

The piece has made several appearances in the Super Mario franchise.
