The Thousand-Year Door description Boost your ally's Attack by 1, drop his or her Defense by 1.

P-Up, D-Down P is a badge available in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, acting as a parallel to P-Down, D-Up P. It is found in the Palace of Shadow, inside of a red ? Block before the room that loops itself, and can be rarely dropped by or stolen from Dark Koopatrols and Elite X-Nauts. If the badge is equipped by Mario, it lowers the defense of his partner by one, increasing the amount of damage they take from all enemy attacks, while also boosting their attack by one, increasing the damage of all of their attacks (excluding items). The badge's effects stack if multiple copies of it are equipped. P-Up, D-Down is a variation of the badge that has an effect exclusively on Mario.
