The Thousand-Year Door description Drop the damage your ally deals AND receives by 1.

P-Down, D-Up P is a badge in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, acting as a parallel to P-Up, D-Down P. It is found in Boggly Woods, inside a hidden ? Block in the same area with a plane panel above the tenth tree stump from the left in the background (reached via the stairwell in the foreground at the rightmost area of the lower level of the screen and walking to the left at the top of the stairs), and can be rarely dropped by or stolen from Dark Craws and X-Naut PhDs. If Mario equips it, it raises the defense of his partner by one point, lowering the damage they take from all enemy attacks, but it also lessens their attack by one, lowering the damage of all of their attacks (excluding items). The badge's effects stack if multiple copies of it are equipped, though their attack power cannot go below one. A variation of the badge exists called P-Down, D-Up that works exclusively on Mario.
