Bomberto is a Bob-omb sailor from Rogueport in the game Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. His name is a pun on "bomb" and the Italian/Spanish name "Roberto". According to Goombella, Bomberto has a lot of muscles, despite the fact he is a walking bomb. In the game, Bomberto has a trouble request at the Trouble Center. His trouble is that his wife has bought a lunchbox for him, but it is empty, and he is hungry. If Mario takes on the request, he has to give Bomberto any food item to solve his trouble, which yields eleven Coins.
