Template:Location-infobox Sweatmore Peak is a volcano in Wario: Master of Disguise. It is explored by Wario during the seventh episode of the main story and again during the fourth special episode. The majority of this level is spent traveling through the magma, but Wario needs the Sweatmore Hotpants to do so without taking damage. Many fish enemies swim in the magma, including the Battle Salmon from the Smithsnorian Museum. One enemy, the Snackeral, will take away Wario's Hotpants if he comes in contact with it. Wario will later need to find the Sweatmore Superhotpants in order to swim through the hotter magma.

It is revealed by Terrormisu at the end of the game that Sweatmore Peak is a nexus of dark power, and that's how she was able to reach out to Wario.

History

Episode 7: Fouling Up the Whole Works!

Wario arrives at the volcano searching for Count Cannoli, who told him to meet him there if he wanted to know where the next Wishstone piece was. However, Cannoli turns out to be a no-show. Instead, Wario meets a mysterious girl there. She warns him not to continue, mentioning that a machine is causing the volcano to behave abnormally. Wario ignores her warning and gets the Sweatmore Hotpants so he can enter the magma and get through the volcano. Shortly afterward, he acquires the Captain Mastery Gem, giving Captain Wario the ability to turn into a submarine and fire torpedoes, which is used extensively in this level.

After swimming through the magma, Wario comes across the Barfatronic Lavachomper, a large head-like device that controls the lava. The Lavachomper was what had caused the increased volcanic activity. Once it is defeated, Wario moves on to Blowhole Castle. Afterward, Cannoli is seen talking with the ally he made two episodes ago about Wario's current progress. Cannoli then leaves, planning his next move.

Special Episode: Part 4

Cannoli later comes back to Sweatmore Peak looking for some "stuff." Wario becomes curious and decides to find the "stuff" himself. When he finds it however, he discovers that the things Cannoli was after were just beauty enhancement products. Wario gloats about how much he doesn't need such things, but takes them anyway.

Trivia

  • Even though the Barfatronic Lavachomper was supposedly increasing Sweatmore Peak's volcanic activity, the layout of the level does not change when Wario returns here in Special Episode: Part 4.
