History

Super Mario Bros. 3

In this game, Red Paragoombas were a weak form of Paragoombas. Their only method of attack was to hop along the ground, attempting to run into Mario.

Super Princess Peach

Red Paragoombas served the same purpose in this game. A sub-species, called Mad Red Paragoomba, also appeared. This species could cling to walls, allowing them to walk across high ledges without falling off the edge.
