List of Versus Mode sets in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

In the Versus Mode of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, each character has three possible skillsets, or sets of weapons and abilities.

Unlock criteriaEdit

By default, only each character's All-Purpose set is unlocked. For the first sixteen matches played on a save game, one skillset will be unlocked at the conclusion of a successful match. The unlocked set will be random, but is subject to the following rules:

  • While scrolling through skillsets with R on the character select screen, each character's second skillset will always be unlocked before their third (e.g. Mario (Quick Draw) will be unlocked before Mario (BIG Stomp)). (The skillsets listed below are also in this order.)
  • Every character must have two skillsets unlocked before any character can unlock their third skillset.
  • When possible, the skillset that gets unlocked will be from a character in the match that just concluded.

After sixteen completed matches, all skillsets will have been unlocked.

NotesEdit

  • Every character has 6 cells Area of Movement, 3 cells pipe exit range, and 6 cells cleansing jump/stomp/ground pound range.
  • Sentries also have a movement radius of 6 cells and a pipe exit radius of 3 cells.
  • All weapons retain their range from story mode (short = 7 cells, medium = 10 cells, long = 15 cells).
  • All techniques have 10 cells of range, aside from shields (which have a 0 cell range) or reaction shots (which have the range of the user's primary weapon).
  • The melee, grenaduck, and rocket specials have an AOE of 2 cells. The sentry has an AOE of one cell.
  • The Melee has no cover damage (as in story mode) and the Rumblebang has high cover damage, but every other weapon has low cover damage.
    • Practically, this means the Rumblebang is able to destroy all breakable cover in one hit, whereas other weapons could take up to three hits to destroy cover.
  • All heroes have a high ground bonus of 1.3×.
    • When targeting sentries, this bonus increases to 1.5×.
