Sprite of Dave from Wario: Master of Disguise

Daves are the name of German Shepherd dogs who have become police dogs. They become police dogs at the age of one (or seven in dog years). They appear in the Smithsnorian Museum in Wario: Master of Disguise. When Nigel B. Whistlebottom spots Wario in a room, he blows on a whistle and call some cops. A Dave might also come in the room when Nigel blows on his whistle. Daves are unbeatable but can be knocked out for a few seconds before fighting again. Mostly gentle, if its master, Sergeant Houndstooth, is knocked out, it gets up on its hind legs and start punching with its paws.

In-game description

A regal canine who overcame his mutt roots to become a true police dog at the tender age of one (or seven in dog years). His pugilistic skills are a wonder.
