A Wakiri[1] is a buzzsaw similar to a Grinder that appears in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. They move along N&B blocks found throughout the final stage of the Mario Zone, shortly before Mario faces the Three Little Pigs. Unlike Grinders, they do not follow tracks in mid-air and are slower, simply moving back and forth. They can be destroyed if Mario runs through them while holding a Star.

A giant rotary cutter attached to the top and bottom of the block platform. It only moves left and right, but if you touch it, you will be seriously injured. You cannot knock them down, so get on top of them and jump to dodge them.
