Tortes are a type of Terrapin that works as a chef in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Only two of them appear in the game, being Chef Torte and his apprentice, who work as the bakers in Marrymore. Due to Mario stopping the wedding between Booster and Princess Toadstool, the Torte's cake had no purpose and was a waste, causing the two to attack Mario in anger as part of a boss battle.
