They appear in the Smithsnorian Museum in Wario: Master of Disguise. When a Nigel B. Whistlebottom spots Wario in a room, it blows on a whistle and call some cops. A Dave might also come in the room when a Nigel blows on its whistle. Daves are unbeatable but can be knocked out for a few seconds before fighting again. Mostly gentle, if its master, Sergeant Houndstooth, is knocked out, it gets up on its hind legs and start punching with its paws.
