Clay (also known as Max in Europe) is a character from Mario Tennis: Power Tour. He is the hero of the game and is fourteen years old. His Partner is Ace and he is described as being a power player. When selected as a character for Power Tennis he is described as a rascal, while Ace is a tomboy. Clay sleeps on the other side of the lodge while Ace sleeps on the other side. He seems to be more calm than Ace is. Clay is the only character in the game (besides the Mario crew) who has his own voice. He also bears similar appearance traits to his Mario Golf: Advance Tour counterpart, Neil.
