The Running Save is a Defensive Power Shot in the game Mario Tennis: Power Tour. It is unlocked after achieving Level 1 speed. Speed can be upgraded by doing the Treadmill and Duck Walk mini games. This shot can be used be either Clay or Ace. By performing this shot, the player must hold down the gba and gba buttons simultaneously when the ball is out of reach. After executing this, Clay or Alex will lunge for the ball. When lunging, they dive a little further then they would do for a regular dive for the ball.
The Running Save is a Defensive Power Shot that Clay and Ace can use in the game Mario Tennis: Power Tour, and is also a Power Shot that is used by Roy, Whisker and Tori, making it (along with Quick Save, Quick-Step Save and High-Power Shot) one of the most frequently used Power Shots in the game. It is unlocked after gaining L1 Speed, and upon activation, the user will run towards the ball and return it to the opposing side of the court.
