Vanishing Magic is one of the Assembly Dojo techniques in WarioWare: D.I.Y. It is the sixth technique in the blue set, and the fourteenth overall in the game. The goal of this technique is to make it so an object disappears once tapped.
Overview[edit]
At the start of Assembly, a single Object, a white box with an exclamation point on it named "!", is present at the center of the stage. When tapped, it makes a snap sound.
Objects[edit]

| AI # | Effect |

The first item of the Object "!"'s first action may be modified by the player.
Solution[edit]
To complete the technique, the first item of Object "!"'s first action must be set to "Travel > Jump To > Location", and then any area that will place the object off-screen. It does not matter if the player specifies a Point or an Area, so long as every possible location is off-screen.
In-game text[edit]
- Description – "Time for some magic! Can you make an object vanish just by tapping it?! You'll have to think creatively on this one!"
- Hint #1 – "You can't delete objects! But maybe you can hide them?"
- Hint #2 – "How about moving it somewhere it can't be seen?"
- Notes (Page 1) – "All objects have to exist somewhere in the game. In other words, you cannot delete them."
- Notes (Page 2) – "So what do you do if you want to remove something from the stage? You can make it look as if it's been removed."
- Notes (Page 3) – "Using "Jump to" is one solution. If you make an object jump to a point off the stage, it will appear to the player as if it has disappeared."
- Notes (Page 4) – "There's another method you may have seen, and that's to switch to art that has nothing drawn in it--that appears invisible. It sometimes depends on the situation, but you can either switch art or use the "jump to" action to "remove" objects from the stage."
