Count to Four is one of the Assembly Dojo techniques in WarioWare: D.I.Y. It is the first technique in the yellow set, and the seventeenth overall in the game. The goal of this technique is to make an object vanish after it's been tapped four times.

Overview[edit]

At the start of Assembly, a single Object named "Square" is in the center of the stage. By default, the Square has a four written in its center, and when tapped during gameplay, it counts down by one and makes a click sound, before ceasing operation after hitting one.

To complete the technique, the second item of Object "Square"'s fourth trigger must be set to "Art > Specific art > 1".

In-game text[edit]

  • Description"Removing an object when it's tapped is easy, but can you make the square vanish after a certain number of taps?"
  • Hint #1"Something happens to the object every time it's tapped."
  • Hint #2"What state is the object in after being tapped for the third time?"
  • Notes (Page 1)"Have you ever wanted to make an object do something after being tapped multiple times? If so, you'll appreciate this simple technique."
  • Notes (Page 2)"If you can change the art every time the object is tapped, all you have to do is check the art type to know how many times it has been tapped."
  • Notes (Page 3)"Does that mean you can only tap as many times as there are art types? Not quite! By using combinations of other objects and switches, you can detect more taps. Give it a try sometime!"
