List of techniques

Go on Green 2 is one of the Assembly Dojo techniques in WarioWare: D.I.Y. It is the fourth technique in the blue set, and the twelth overall in the game. The goal of this technique is to make an object move after both a switch has been turned on, and after it has been tapped.

Overview[edit]

At the start of Assembly, the player is presented with two Objects. A white Signal light with two indicators, and a rectangle with a blue arrow pointing right, named "Car". When starting the microgame, after a randomized delay, the signal's light goes from red to green, its switch is turned on, and a confirmation sound is played. By default, tapping on the car does nothing.

Objects[edit]

Signal
AI # Effect
1 When a time from 3-1 to 5-1 is hit:
Turn SIGNAL switch ON.
Change art to GREEN.
Play CORRECT sound effect.
Car
AI # Effect
1 When CAR is tapped &
?
Go EAST.
Play TIGER sound effect.

The second item of the Object "Car"'s first trigger may be modified by the player.

Solution[edit]

To complete the technique, the second item of Object "Car"'s first trigger must be set to "Switch > Signal > Switch is ON".

In-game text[edit]

  • Description"The car's AI will make it take off when tapped. You just need to keep it from taking off when the signal is still red!"
  • Hint #1"Once it turns green, the signal switch will stay on."
  • Hint #2"If it's green, you should be able to tap at any time to make it go."
  • Notes (Page 1)"If you only make a tap-based trigger, the cart will take off as soon as it's tapped. To keep that from happening, you need to add the condition that the light has turned green, or in other words, that the traffic-light switch is ON."
  • Notes (Page 2)"In this traffic-signal problem, you wouldn't want to use "Switch turns ON," since the trigger would only be active at that instant and the cart wouldn't move when tapped."
