List of techniques

All or Nothing is one of the Assembly Dojo techniques in WarioWare: D.I.Y. It is the eighth and final technique in the green set, and the eighth overall in the game. The goal of this technique is to set the Win Conditions such that the microgame is won once every object has been tapped.

Overview[edit]

At the start of Assembly, three Objects, labeled "1", "2", and "3" appear in the center of the stage. Each of the objects have the same design and AI, being white squares that, when tapped, display a circle inside them, play a confirmation sound, and turn their switch on.

Objects[edit]

1
AI # Effect
1 When 1 is tapped:
Turn 1 switch ON.
Change art to CIRCLE.
Play CORRECT sound effect.
2
AI # Effect
1 When 2 is tapped:
Turn 2 switch ON.
Change art to CIRCLE.
Play CORRECT sound effect.
3
AI # Effect
1 When 3 is tapped:
Turn 3 switch ON.
Change art to CIRCLE.
Play CORRECT sound effect.

None of the objects may be modified by the player. Instead, the Win Conditions may be modified by the player.

Solution[edit]

To complete the technique, the Win Conditions should be set such that there is one Win Condition, configured as such:

  • Object "1"'s switch is ON.
  • Object "2"'s switch is ON.
  • Object "3"'s switch is ON.

In-game text[edit]

  • Description"This game cannot be won unless all three of the squares are tapped! All three, got it?! All three!"
  • Hint #1"First of all, you're going to monitor three different switches."
  • Hint #2"Should the switches be monitored together or in separate conditions?"
  • Notes (Page 1)"Creating win conditions is very simple. The only thing you can set as a win condition is to check whether a given object's switch is ON or OFF, so there's not a lot to think about. However...if [sic] you need to monitor two or more switches, things get a little more complicated."
  • Notes (Page 2)"You can set condition 1 through 6, but you can monitor up to six switch states within each of these."
  • Notes (Page 3)"But remember that multiple switch states within one win condition work totally differently than multiple switch states being set to different win conditions."
  • Notes (Page 4)"Setting multiple switch states within one win condition means that all of those switch states must occur to win. Setting them to separate win conditions means that only one of those switch states must occur to win. This is a very important point, so try to remember."
