End-of-the-Year Awards

It's that time of the year again, the time of celebration! Here, we honor the writers, staff, and contributors who have done their part to help make The 'Shroom of 2023 what it was. Issue 200 was a massive launch that would not have been possible without everyone involved. We want to credit people who not only helped make that what it was, but also have been dedicated throughout the year. As usual, all of the awards are split into Diamond and Golden awards; Diamond awards are for exceptional performance in each category, while Golden awards are for those who didn't quite reach the top of the mountain but did a very good job getting close. This year will not feature the Poochy Award, we will have six categories to go through. Please keep in mind, we've made some changes to the Toad Award this year. Without further adieu, here's the 2023 End-of-the-Year 'Shroom Awards!

• Diamond and Golden Mario Award – Given to those who have written a single section for The 'Shroom for a prolonged period of time, displaying consistent devotion to The 'Shroom.
• Diamond and Golden Bowser Award – Given to those who consistently submit their sections on time, displaying responsibility and good time management.
• Diamond and Golden Peach Award – Given to those who consistently produce sections of excellent quality as decided by the general public (Section of the Month), displaying a dedication to the subject matter of their respective sections and a desire to bring the best out of them.
• Diamond and Golden Yoshi Award – Given to those that have contributed many sections to the paper, displaying a willingness to test ones capabilities and spread their influence across The 'Shroom.
• Diamond and Golden Toad Award – Given to those that put a lot of effort to enhance The 'Shroom in specific ways, honoring those who may have helped a lot behind-the-scenes, contributed guest submissions, or participated in a 'Shroom event beyond expectations.
• Diamond and Golden 'Shroom Award – Given to the individuals that produced the best sections in 2023, as decided on by the Core Staff.

GBA (talk)	Had a huge part in the artistic presentation for Issue 200, and created many assets used including the Fireworks Display.
Hooded Pitohui (talk)	Issue 200 is a huge milestone, and it was a huge success. While everyone involved had an impact, Hooded Pitohui oversaw every aspect and tied it all together wonderfully.
Lakituthequick (talk)	Had a huge part in the technical side of things for Issues 195 and 200. Mainly, making sure the Fireworks Display functioned as expected and optimized as much as possible.
Meta Knight (talk)	Handled a very large number of applications in a short timeframe for Issue 200, as well as making the overhaul of the Archives possible with his technical expertise.
Shoey (talk)	Contributed a lot of sections all year consistently, but especially for Issue 200, where he submitted 19 sections!
TPG (talk)	Helped streamline some of the assets for Issue 200 for use in the future, mainly the ability to mix and match background colors with different SVG images.
Waluigi Time (talk)	Was heavily involved in the creation process of Issue 200 in many avenues. He also consistently wrote a lot of sections throughout the year, and over 20 for Issue 200!
