The Black Coin Pipe is a special building in Super Mario Run. Unlike other Warp Pipes, the Black Coin Pipe glows, has a star on the front, and it has a white base. Like other Warp Pipes, the Black Coin Pipe takes up a 1 x 1 space. It matches the height of the "Pipe A" buildings. After being placed, the Black Coin Pipe can be tapped on to open a prompt to access the special course Make the Cut! Toads are never seen standing next to or interacting with this pipe.
To unlock this building in the Shop, the player has to collect every Black Coin in every course from World 1 to World 6. Due to cascading requirements to unlock the Black Coins, this also requires collecting all of the Pink Coins and Purple Coins from the same courses. The Black Coin Pipe can then be purchased for 0 coins. As a limited item, only one copy of the Black Coin Pipe can be obtained. As a special building, the Black Coin Pipe has no rank.
