The level starts in a tower with [[Grrrol]]s and multiple platforms. At one segment of the level, the player must let the Grrrols destroy some Brick Blocks to open up the rest of the level. A Mega Grrrol destroys another wall of Brick Blocks which opens up the boss door where [[Boom Boom]] awaits. He must be hit three times in order to be defeated.

Two more Grrrol generators are in the section following, and [[Hidden Block]]s below them must be hit in order to cause the Grrrols to destroy [[Brick Block]]s blocking the path. [[1-Up Mushroom]]s can be found in some of the Hidden Blocks. A large section of Brick Blocks follow, and is cleared out by two [[Mega Grrrol]]s. Smashing-Stone Tower, or Rock-Candy Mines-Tower is the first Tower level of Rock-Candy Mines in New Super Luigi U. It is unlocked when Porcupuffer Cavern is completed, and its completion unlocks Spike's Seesaws and Light-Up-Lift Tower.

Layout[edit]

The level starts in a tower with Grrrols and platforms that must be climbed up to progress. Two Grrrol generators are found on either side of the area. Two more Grrrol generators are in the section following, and Hidden Blocks below them must be hit in order to cause the Grrrols to destroy Brick Blocks blocking the path. 1-Up Mushrooms can be found in some of the Hidden Blocks.
